What we collect
- The file or text you submit — held in server memory long enough to convert, plus up to 10 minutes if you used the JSON response mode (so the download link works). Then deleted.
- Generated PDFs — same window. Single-use download links (consumed on first GET) are also deleted on first read.
- Aggregate metrics — format requested, theme picked, paper size, duration, output size, success/failure. No file contents.
- Standard web logs — IP, User-Agent, request path, response code, timestamp. Held for capacity planning and abuse mitigation. Rotated weekly.
- GA4 events — pageviews and conversion events. Anonymized via GA4's standard IP masking. You can opt out via your browser's Do Not Track or an extension; we honor those signals.
What we don't do
- No accounts, no email gates, no signup wall.
- No long-term storage of your documents. The bytes you upload are gone within 10 minutes.
- No tracking pixels or analytics scripts inside the generated PDFs. Whatever the PDF says is what you typed in.
- No selling, sharing, or training of anything on your document contents.
- No ad networks. The site has no ads.
For AI agents (MCP)
When you call the MCP server, the same rules apply — your input is held in memory just long enough to convert, then deleted. The User-Agent string is sniffed for which MCP client made the call (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.) so we can split aggregate stats by client. No tokens, credentials, or PII are collected.
Cookies
None set by us. GA4 sets its standard analytics cookies if you have JavaScript enabled. There are no other cookies on the site.
Third parties
- Google Analytics 4 for aggregate pageviews and conversion events. Honors Do Not Track.
- Google Fonts for Inter / Source Serif / IBM Plex Sans / JetBrains Mono. Fonts are loaded from
fonts.googleapis.comwhen you visit a page. - Hetzner (Germany) — our hosting provider. Files transit through their network during a conversion but are not persisted.
That's it. No other vendors.
